Josh, Setting RRN to 0 is correct for reading from top, as I said in my earlier post, it is the equivalent of a *Loval SetLL (which, of course, cannot be used on a subfile). The RRN is the pointer to the subfile - setting it to ) places it before the first record in the subfile. Regards Paul Tuohy.
