I have done this in the past. Here is how I done it:

During your 1st readc through the subfile you can store the RRN's in an 
array or DS.  After the 1st pass is complete you can use the stored RRN's to 
CHAIN to the subfile records. (You can also UPDATE subfile records & 
redisplay the same subfile.)
