Most likely. Is there a telnet client I can use from my home PC that will let me sign on to the WYATTERP site? (preferably free or very low cost as I'm not sure I'd use it more than a few times) Jim wrote: >Can you ping 63.167.147.10 Dan? No. I get TCP3213: Cannot reach remote system Cause: There is no active route to the system 63.167.147.10 at address 63.167.147.10. Recovery: Start the route to the remote system using the Start TCP Interface (STRTCPIFC) command. So, I call up STRTCPIFC and start a wild goose chase down to host table entries and whatnot. Much too complicated without the proper reference material. >P.S. How many times to people call you Dale? I had to edit this >message and fix it :) YOU NOTICED! Thank you, Jim! I gave up counting years ago. Even when reading my full name, Dan Bale, (and not an email abbreviation, e.g. D.Bale), I still get called Dale. Even after I verbally tell people my name, I still get called Dale. Maybe if I changed my name to Dale Ban? <sigh> There's one person on this list with whom I've been corresponding privately over the past week or so who keeps starting his emails with 'Dale,' even though I use the same sig. (Maybe he'll see himself here?) Maybe I should use a new sig? So maybe 403 comes from WYATTERP, and not from my side? What am I doing wrong? Run the GLNOWRK (Work with G/L accounts) and see if this behavior is what you are looking for. If it is, choose the WYATTERP demo from the menu which will give you a command line. From there WRKMBRPDM WYATTERPP/QPGMSRC and look for members GLNODSPF and GLNOWRK. hth Jim Langston wrote: > Dang, you're good! > > Thanks, I couldn't use the SLNO with my header display line set to 13, but I > added the CLRL(6) (clearing lines 13 through 18) and it now does exactly what > I want it to do.
