You've shocked me. You can't SETON/SETOFF U1-U8 in the RPG program? They should be settable just like 01-99, unless something has changed in the last 10 years or so.... _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ "VIJI SETHURAMAN" <VIJI.SETHURAMAN@dfs.com> Sent by: owner-rpg400-l@midrange.com 04/11/2001 08:01 PM Please respond to RPG400-L To: RPG400-L@midrange.com cc: Subject: U1-8 Switches: Similar to *LDA ? Folks: >From the *LDA update problem being discussed here, I have a comparable one using the Job switches... I needed to set on U1...U8, depending on data/user selection in an RPG pgm and call another RPG which will behave depending on how these indicators are set. (The RPG will open files based on options chosen). I had to write a small CLP to ensure that the switch setting is done properly before calling the second RPG. Any other ways this can be done without a CL call?
