I would like to loop through a queue in a CL program and delete > each of the spool files related to a job number, Job name, Spool Number > I pass to the CL. > > TIA > Tom As others have mentioned, you can use DLTSPLF to delete a single spoolfile or several, based on selection critera. You can extend this in a CL by a WRKOUTQ to *PRINT, CPYSPLF & RCVF (as also mentioned) or you can use the system APIs (QUSLSPL is the principal one) to identify the spooled files you want & process the entries (in a user space) in CL (hard) or RPG (easier). You could have a look at my PRGOUTQ or MOVOUTQ utilities for examples of the latter method. Tom Liotta (http://zap.to/tl400) has loads of code examples of using just CL to process system APIs if you want a CL only solution.
