Good News Everybody!

A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

There is probably some confusion regarding the word "thread." It is common
practise to refer to running more than one job at a time as being
"multithreaded." One standard implementation of this is a job queue with
MAXACT(2).

The modern usage of the word "thread" goes hand in hand with the C spawn()
function and Java. Unix people are familiar with the concept <g>. OS/400
and RPG are becoming more threadsafe with each new release. We'll get full
Unix thread capability Real Soon Now.
