Gee Kevin, I guess you might need to give us a wee bit more information than you have so far. For example, what kind of software is running on NT to give it APPC/APPN services? This is necessary for the PC to be able to accept a session request from the AS400. Without this, the PC will never hear the AS400 knocking. Assuming you have an SNA communications server of some sort running, you should be able to use ICF facilities to initiate a session to the NT node. I'm not a top gun with APPC, but I could probably get a good start on something like this with a couple of hours of RTFM. Surely someone knows if it is actually possible for a 400 to initiate a LU6.2 session with a NT ?? waiting with baited breath. kmh At 08:24 AM 01/26/2001 -0500, you wrote: >Morning all. > >I am posing this question for a friend while he sorts out his enrollments etc. > > >Normally it is the PC software that starts the LU6.2 connection with the >AS/400, In this case it appears that the AS/400 must start the session to >PC program.
