Honestly, I will be very surprised to see anyone using variables this long. Why not just allow us to use: Add 1 to CurrentYearOpenOrders Oh, that's Cobol, isn't it? <g> Mispelling variable names isn't restricted to the example you provided. You could have very well mispelled your variable in your += example. Neither do I type 100wpm. But I make very extensive use of copy/paste in my Client Access 5250 sessions.
