Great! First batter up is the Queen-Momma-RPG-Goddess herself. Answer: Yep. That's me. For two reasons: 1) I just learned ILE this year and I started with the concepts manual (which I never finished). 2) They don't use copybooks here. I've been trying to get the programmers together to standardize our programming techniques, but so far, no go. I've got to go back and finish that concepts manual. We're at the point where we (me) have done some service programs containing only one module. The service program and the module have the same name. We (me) haven't used multiple module service programs or binding directories. And all service programs have been compiled with EXPORT(*ALL). How bad is that? Really, I need know what I'm missing out on, so I can make a case when we finally do get together. Next month this company is consolidating into a building they erected this year. Right now we're spread out. Three programmers here, one in another building, and three more in another. Some of the other programmers are writing modules and binding them with some of the service programs I've written, but that is the extent of their ILE experience. Was that just for your mailing-list post, or is that how your code really is?
