Jon, I see that some others have given you examples, but here is one more: http://www.midrangecomputing.com/ftp/prog/99/991003.zip This example will allow you to retrieve defaults and apply edits to fields using procedures that are not known until run time. The procedure that supplies the default or does the editing is stored in a database file. It uses qleactbndp, qlegetexp, qlicvttp, and a few others. Some of the procedures provided are actsrvpgm, cvtobjtyphex, rtvexpprcptr, and rtvsysptr. One challenge I would be interested in solving is how to activate a program into a specified activation group. I have not come up with a real good way.
