Well there's always the manual <grin> - thought I'd say it before Simon did
;-)

You will also find an example and narrative in the good ole RPG Redbook (
SG2454-02). You'll find it in section 3.6.3 Using procedure pointer calls.

I've also done some work using proc pointers to permit the use of
conventional dynamically called programs as "Service Programs" - this
further extends the ability to do OO type stuff since you don't have to
bind to all of the procedures you are going to use at program creation
time.
