Thank you everyone for the fine code examples, it seems that RPG
does handle function pointers, quite well, I might add.

So, what is to prevent us, as programmers, to create Objects as
data structures?

What is it we could not duplicate? Our naming scheme may need
to work a little different, as RPG doesn't recognize
Myobject.MyStructure.MyVar
or
MyObject.MyStructure.MyFunction()
or the like. But that is easily emulatable.

Eval   %ObjCall(MyObject: MyStructure: MyFunction)
Eval MyNewVar = %ObjVar(MyObject: MyStructure: MyVar)

Regards,

Jim Langston
