Title: IFS Authority

I have an IFS /QOpenSys/EDI/Applic/Send like this.I authorized the user for EDI thinking that all the sub directories he will get authorized.But it was not so then I had to authorize Applic as well as Send Subdirectories.Why it's like this? (I thought IFS behaves like PC)
