<I thought that the IFS behaves like a PC> More specifically it behaves like the file system with which you are in. /QSYS.LIB behaves like QSYS. QOpenSys behaves like what it is..... A Unix file system. Case Sensitive, 255 byte names, and authority. John ------------------------------------------- Hi I have an IFS /QOpenSys/EDI/Applic/Send like this.I authorized the user for EDI thinking that all the sub directories he will get authorized. But it was not so then I had to authorize Applic as well as Send Subdirectories. Why it's like this? (I thought IFS behaves like PC) Thanks Rizwan +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
