I believe if you do not specify K in the appropiate position on the F-spec the file will be processed by relative record number, not keyfield. So if RCCUS is numeric, the compiler will happily create the program. When you run it, if RCCUS is 10, instead of updating the record with RCCUS=10, the program will update relative record nbr 10.
