RCCUS must be a numeric field.  Without the K in the file spec. the program
is chaining to the file by relative record number.  Are you sure no records
are being updated?  I think records are being updated, just not the ones you
think should be.  Look at the records with a releative record number of what
RCCUS is.  When you put the K in the file spec. then the chain is by the key
field and it updates the records you expect.
