Record is probably sitting in buffer and not posted until buffer is full or LR. -----Original Message----- From: owner-rpg400-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-rpg400-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Silvio Santos Sent: Tuesday, October 24, 2000 12:08 PM To: RPG400-L@midrange.com Subject: Strange WRITEFILREC behaviour I was debugging a PGM (RPG/400) where I had a WRITE to a file with the corresponding indicator. After the WRITE the indicator was off, so it had wrote the record. But using SQL I didnt saw the record in the file, only after exiting the debug I saw the record there in the mencioned file. I had read the RPG/400 Reference and didnt found any reference to it. Does anybody has an explanation for this ?
