Client Access (or CA Express) supplies the client-side ODBC drivers. Host
Servers contains the AS/400-side ODBC servers.

-|Hi Srinivas,
-|
-|A better place would be the Midrange-L list, since this is not actually an
-|RPG question. But as long as you're here, the answer is there are
-|many ways:
-|
-|1) Use ODBC from the PC to the AS400.
-|
-|2) Export the data as a comma-separated values (.csv) file, copy it to the
-|IFS (either with FTP or directly if you have Netserver running on the
-|AS400), then use CPYFRMIMPF on the AS400 to put it into a physical file.
-|
-|3) Export the data as .csv and use Client Access's data transfer utility.
-|
-|4) I think I heard someone mention that there's an ODBC driver for the
-|AS400. Presumably you could install that and have an AS400 program access
-|the PC database directly.
-|
-|And there are probably other methods I haven't thought of.
-|
