Hi Srinivas,

A better place would be the Midrange-L list, since this is not actually an
RPG question. But as long as you're here, the answer is there are many ways:

1) Use ODBC from the PC to the AS400.

2) Export the data as a comma-separated values (.csv) file, copy it to the
IFS (either with FTP or directly if you have Netserver running on the
AS400), then use CPYFRMIMPF on the AS400 to put it into a physical file.

3) Export the data as .csv and use Client Access's data transfer utility.

4) I think I heard someone mention that there's an ODBC driver for the
AS400. Presumably you could install that and have an AS400 program access
the PC database directly.

And there are probably other methods I haven't thought of.
