Actually, I think you need to make sure you have a Relational Database
Directory Entry with a Remote Location of *LOCAL -- then you use that name
when you set up the data source on your PC.

You can check this with the WRKRDBDIRE command -- if you don't see an
entry, you can create one right there:
"1"
<system name>
*LOCAL

the whole process. It's not too hard, but it's nice to have everything
spelled out.
