The is a library on the 400 that contains previous versions of programs that
have been replaced - they are stored in the QRPLOBJ library.   The objects
are assigned a unique object Id and the library/object as the description.
They can be made subject to the usual object interogation commands.

As for the source, I suggest you try and implement a stringent change
management environment so as to reduce the risk of deleting source ie, make
your live source owned by QSECOFR - there are a number of products available
on the market.

If objects are deleted, then you only have back ups to go back to.
