Parvez The is a library on the 400 that contains previous versions of programs that have been replaced - they are stored in the QRPLOBJ library. The objects are assigned a unique object Id and the library/object as the description. They can be made subject to the usual object interogation commands. As for the source, I suggest you try and implement a stringent change management environment so as to reduce the risk of deleting source ie, make your live source owned by QSECOFR - there are a number of products available on the market. If objects are deleted, then you only have back ups to go back to.
