Hello, Can anyone tell me what the "TAB" AS400 EBCDIC VALUE TO EQUATE TO DECIMAL CHAR(9) ON THE ASCII TABLE is? I cannot find it anywhere! I am ATTEMPTING TO CREATE A TAB DELIMITED FILE. Actually, I see no reason for the DFTACTGRP compile option at all. Just use ACTGRP(*OPM) or ACTGRP(*FAKEOPM), since if DFTACTGRP is *DEFAULT, you can't use the ACTGRP option. If you use DFTACTGRP(*NO) and ACTGRP(*CALLER), you are not limited to external program procedures. So by saying "compiled into the default activation group" I was trying to say that if you use DFTACTGRP(*YES) you will be limited. As I'm sure you know.
