Tough I insisted a lot, I wasn't able to get authority to this commands (And we're software developers). Finally I did a clumsy DFU clone (CL and RPg only). Thanks to you SQL is a posibility too. Now I only miss STRISDBG (Or STRDBG at least). I guess DSPLY will do. I wonder why the hell happiness never reaches 100% :-). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joel Fritz" <JFritz@sharperimage.com> To: <RPG400-L@midrange.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 29, 2000 6:58 PM Subject: RE: Fw: File in CL Program > Try: > > for updates-- > > UPDATE &FILE > SET &SET > WHERE &WHERE > > for deletes-- > > DELETE FROM &FILE > WHERE &WHERE > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Antonio Salazar [mailto:asm@kernel.com.mx] > > Sent: Tuesday, August 29, 2000 3:45 PM > > To: RPG400-L@midrange.com > > Subject: Re: Fw: File in CL Program > > > > > > I've been trying to do that, but as far as i knew, STRQMQRY can't run > > updates or deletes > > ¿How did you do it? > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Peter Connell" <peterc@baycorp.co.nz> > > To: <RPG400-L@midrange.com> > > Sent: Tuesday, August 29, 2000 3:46 PM > > Subject: RE: Fw: File in CL Program > > > > > > > It's very simple to create a cmd that runs a simple QM/400 > > query which > > > expects to be passed a complete SQL statement.
