> Don't forget to do this on your AS/400, too! Use system value QUTCOFFSET. > That might prevent confusion / mistakes when transferring data (or > saving/restoring). I only recently dealt with this very same thing, Anton. When I began running WebTrends over our logging files, I noticed a time difference due to an incorrect QUTCOFFSET value (default value must be GMT). Due to light activity, I'm able to process an entire month into a WebTrends report. I trick WebTrends by changing the time-zone setting on the PC before starting it (who says two wrongs don't make a right?). I guess you'll know what I'll be doing at Midnight on August 1st ;) I wonder how many more AS/400's out there have an incorrect QUTCOFFSET value? I know this is more appropriate on the Ignite list, but I've been a long-time reader looking to contribute in some way.
