Mark, >I am using the workstation file infds, position 279; which seemed to work >after a post, but now it does not seem to know, am I missing something, or >did I stumble on what I "thought" would check this. I use one of the DSM (Dynamic Screen Manager APIs) which lets you determine if the current device supports a given mode. This is called the Query Mode Support API, or QsnQryModSup. The 27x132 format is known as mode *DS4, although the api only has you pass the '4' when checking if *DS4 is supported. One example of using this API can be found at this link: http://www.as400network.com/communities/rpgprogrammer/rpgcode/SupportedDisplayWidth.zip Doug +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
