It sounds like you're looking for an "rexecd" (remote execution server) for your NT machine. These are standard on any UNIX machine... :) It would enable you to use RUNRMTCMD from the AS/400 over TCP/IP without the use of Client Access. Unfortunately, I'm not a Windows NT person... and this isn't really a Windows NT forum. I'd assume that someone has written an rexecd (or compatable) service for NT? (to me its a basic service that should be available on ANY operating system that wants to work as a network server.) Perhaps there is someone on the list whos familiar enough with NT to help you?
