I never have the problem.
Of course I use a DOU so it resets the %EOF flag automatically.

key setll file
     dou %eof(file)
key reade file
     if %eof(file)
     leave
     endif

You must be a DOW person.
DOW is of course better<G, RDLMAO> But since I do it wrong(DOU),
I don't have a problem.

I am building a subfile by reading a PF using READE. The Subfile is
Displayed when the %EOF is encountered. I want to Add a record to my PF,
Clear the Subfile then re-read the PF to Rebuild the subfile. It seems
that
when I try to rebuild the subfile the %EOF is still on. Does anyone know
of
a way to reset the %EOF so that I can reread my PF from the beginning? I
want to avoid using an indicator but I will if there is not other way.
