The reason it is still RPG II is because it's probably working exactly the way they want it to, and don't intend any major changes. Ever. <grin> Since there is already RPG IV code in the shop, I suggest that you do all your new work in RPG IV. If you have to maintain an RPG III / 400 program, convert it (CVTRPGSRC) before doing the work. If you run up against specific problems, post the details and we'll get them ironed out.
