Are you referring to the job function as displayed by the WRKACTJOB command
(PGM-..., MNU-..., CMD-...).

If so that information is available using the QUSLJOB (List Job) API using
key field 601 and 602 - function name respectively function type.

You could actually control (set) this information in case that would be
necessary to uniquely identify the X.25-jobs, here's a tip describing how
that is accomplished:
