This would better be done outside of an RPG program. boothm@earth.Goddard.edu on 04/15/2000 12:17:36 PM Please respond to RPG400-L@midrange.com@Internet To: rpg400-l@midrange.com@Internet cc: Fax to: Subject: Seeing a file on the IFS in V3R7 How would I be able to see or use a file in the IFS of a V3R7 machine? I Ftp'd a file to /home/booth and it arrived there. I can see it listed with the Ls command but I can not figure out how I can see the data itself. Pico works well with *nix but the AS/400 doesn't have a Pico editor. Is there a way I can use the SEU editor? _______________________ Booth Martin boothm@earth.goddard.edu http://www.spy.net/~booth _______________________ +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
