I use CLLE exclusively, but mainly just for compatibility with my RPGLE programs. The fact is though, I do as much as possible from within the RPG code and use very little CL at all. With all the new string functions, I find it much easier to put together a command inside RPG and then just call the command execute API. Advantages? Not much really, other than the CALLPRC command. It would be nice it they would enhance it, but I understand that will never happen as long as Rochester owns it. Same problems as with the SQL preprocessor. Both of them should be moved to the language lab so they could be coordinated with RPG, but I haven't heard anything hopeful on that front. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Graziano" <Bill.Graziano@besi.com> To: "RPG E-MAIL LIST (E-mail)" <RPG400-L@midrange.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 11, 2000 8:37 AM Subject: RPGIV/RPG ILE ...
