Dan,

I don't know of any shops that are currently using Java in production.  I can 
say
that we are in that preparing to begin to commence stage of implementing Java 
and
CGI type RPG applications with a goal of providing controlled internet access to
data on the 400 and as a possible GUI interface to applications on PC's and Thin
Clients.  So maybe some time this summer I'll respond with a yes to this
question.  (I'll be sure and keep a copy of this thread in one of those places
i'm sure i'll be able to find later, and let you know how it goes)
