I'm the only one in my shop (one other P/A and the MIS Director was a P/A
who still does some programming) who uses procedures and other ILE features,
and I'm fairly new at it. I've been doing a lot more programs as
ACTGRP(*CALLER) so that I can use procedures in them, but they are still
running with dynamic calls in the default activation group. I only have a
few programs with ACTGRP(*NEW) and those are programs that are called
directly from the menu or from a CL called from the menu.

I've got a big project coming up sometime where I am going to start using
service programs, if not sooner.
