I would agree w/ Jon that it's probably best to learn RPGIV and yes Judy Jaeger's book on IV is very easy to follow and to understand. As far as print files, I LOVE external print files and avoid O Specs whenever possible, I find it easier to start at position 1 and count forward than to start at the end and count backward.
