I have downloaded an output file, created from a query, to an excel spreadsheet
with the following problem:

Using the digits operation in query, I mapped a six byte numeric field (that
stores a date) and a two byte numeric field (that stores a century)into one
eight byte alpha date result. When i transferred to excel, the date is reading
as "F1 F9 F9 F9...zone format. I need to sort this field for various reporting
requests. How can i solve this problem either through the 400 query function or
within excel. Thank you.
