Not sure if this is a RPG400-L question but since the thread has been started... Does anyone know why I am able to FTP to another AS/400 on my network but if I try the IP address of any other device on that network, NT-server, PC etc, the AS/400 won't communicate with it. It gives me an error like "unable to connect at this time. Try again later." Of course, "later" never comes. I am able to FTP from these other devices to the AS/400 in question. I can also ping the other devices from the AS/400. It works just like FTP does anywhere else, mostly. The Help on the AS/400 is very useful. _______________________ Booth Martin boothm@earth.goddard.edu http://www.spy.net/~booth _______________________ Justin Kiteley <justin@asiwms.com> Sent by: owner-rpg400-l@midrange.com 03/09/2000 09:41 PM Please respond to RPG400-L To: "RPG400 List at Midrange.com" <RPG400-L@midrange.com> cc: Subject: Using FTP to send data files I'm sure this one has been asked before, but I have to ask it. What is the best way (In Your Humble Opinions) to use FTP to transfer AS400 data files to other boxes such as Unix.
