I worked on a couple of 36 conversions last year using a product called
Target 400.
It wasn't entirely painless, but it was certainly helpful - it took the
RPGII up to RPG III, tried to externalize files, converted OCL. We still
did a good bit of fiddling and re-writing, but we had a couple of other
objectives. We COULD have done less work and had a working 400 system.

I am new to the rpg III and IV world ( hard to believe I know) but I have
been working on a system 36 and programming in rpgII we have recently bid
on
a as/400 model 170. My question is how would I go about transfering all
my
rpg II programs to the 400 or rather what is the easiest way besides
rewriting all the programs. Is there a software package that can do this
at
a resonable price.
Sincerely stupid,
Gene
