Jon, Three years ago I left one employer who refused to allow the use of RPGIV and moved to one that wanted to get into it. I've recently completed a new job search, and the interesting thing to me is that every prospective employer I interviewed with demanded RPGIV skills and would like to have ILE skills. So, it's changing. Just takes awhile. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Jon.Paris@halinfo.it> To: <RPG400-L@midrange.com> Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2000 1:04 PM Subject: RE: Using % type functions > > > I think your "rhetorical excess" section sums it up very accurately and more > than accommodates the first of your two "real" reasons (i.e. "management won't > let me").
