You can get a free trial of IBM's Code/400 by downloading from their web site at
www.software.ibm.com/ad/varpg.  You can do the same thing for Aldon's Flex/Edit
I think - check out www.aldon.com.  You can also download the beta version of
Cozzi's CodeStudio at www.rpgiv.com

I use Code/400 because it has a "compiler" - known as the verifier - built in.
This does everything the compiler does except generate executables.
