They are in COBOL. That, in and of itself, is not a problem as the
interface is documented, and the procedures can be called from RPG IV or
COBOL or C, and probably even C++ although I have not tested that.

Problem is, I am not prepared to ship product or support it. I mentioned
the routines as a design guideline and not an offer of supply.

With the API's book open, any programmer worth their salt can produce
the same thing in less than one day.
