It's a nice idea, but for those of us who work for corporations, we
don't have the legal right: copyright in anything we write is held by
the company.  Check your contract.  Indeed, if you take my contract
literally, anything I wrote at home on my PC would also be owned by the
company -- and that could extend to any creative work, not just
software.  However, I think that that is unenforceable under UK law
(there's something about contractual terms having to be fair and
reasonable).
