Unfortunately, developments that you do on the company machine, belong to the company, which means you need prior approval from your boss before you can start distributing that software as freeware. >>> -----Original Message----- >>> From: boldt@ca.ibm.com [mailto:boldt@ca.ibm.com] >>> Sent: Tuesday, September 07, 1999 6:32 PM >>> To: RPG400-L@midrange.com >>> Subject: RE: Re[4]: New Opcodes - %SETCELL >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> Hey, I'm back! Have you considered opening it up to freeware submissions from other people? >From browsing the links at <http://www.netshare400.com/>, it looks like there's already a fair bit of stuff out there. But much more needs to be done to encourage people to share their RPG code and coordinate what's already available. ---- Regarding IFS support - Has no-one tried to write a SPECIAL file program for IFS reads and writes? It seems like an ideal use for SPECIAL files. Cheers!
