RE: Whats the best way to run a CL every 30 min

Probably best to submit a never-ending job with a DLYJOB (delay job) in
it.  Something like:

PGM

START:
/* Do stuff */

...

DLYJOB DLY(1800)

GOTO START

ENDPGM

Submit it to run in a suitable subsystem; QSYSWRK will do if you don't
have other subsystems set up for the purpose.

The delay time is in seconds.  You might need to have some way of
shutting it down tidily; otherwise you can just use ENDJOB.

This isn't terribly elegant, but it uses no(?) CPU while on the DLYJOB,
and doesn't have the job-start overhead that using job schedule entries
would have.
