In ILE Concepts are some examples which show the order in which unresolved
references are resolved:

1.  Parameter MODULE (of CRTPGM)
2.  Parameter BNDSRVPGM
3.  The entries in the binding directory(s) specified in parameter BNDDIR

So it should be possible to 'hide' the standard routines by using a custom
binding directory, to be searched before the standard binding directory.
