I believe that the reason it works is that all of the procedures and/or
variables with the same names are defined the same throughout the modules that
contain them.
Therefore, like you said no matter which one was "first found" it was OK because
they are all defined the same.
It sounds like the issue (problem) is if there are ones named the same but
defined differently.

Are you certain that this always works? The information I received from the
folks in Rochester was that you could not guarantee which one would be used - it
would be "first found".
