× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

It would also be useful to be able to use a variable name to control the format
used, as you can in COBOL. For programming ICF in particular this can save
muchos code as you often need to simply write back the format that you just
read.
