Re: QCMDCHK API

The QCMDCHK API must receive a command similar to what you would type on a 
command line. Any parameters must be replace by their actual value before being 
passed to this API. So, in the CL that calls this API, you must build a command 
string in witch you replace the variables by their values. I have done this a 
couple of times if you need more help.

Does anyone know how to use the QCMDCHK API or something similar and allow
variables as command parameters?  Similar to user options in PDM.  Using the
QCMDCHK API and specifying a variable (like &F) for a command parameter
produces an error stating that variables can only be used in CL programs.

I'm guessing there's a way to do it since you can do it with user options in
PDM.  I checked out the call stack while doing this in PDM and see the
QUOCMD API being called, but I didn't find this API specified anywhere in
the online manuals.
