Yes, I use the sockets API from RPG... I'm on a CISC box running V3R2, and it works fine. (though, it SHOULD work even better on RISC) Its not that hard... basically you just make RPG data structures, prototypes and such that will look (to the API) just like the C ones do. Once you've got that part down, you can write your socket stuff in RPG, just as you would in C, and use the C manuals for a reference. do you want examples, or do you have a more specific question?
