if this new file (or any other) is used for validation or retrieval (ie; code, desc, etc), maybe you can write a small 'retrieval' program that will pass back the info you need to your existing program. that way you can put the new file into the called program, avoiding the 51 file limitation. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi, We have an RPG program in which there are 50 files in it and we want to add another for a total of 51.
