Is it RPG ILE?  If not try CVTRPGSRC.  It isn't that hard.  You have a TRUE 
business case for doing so.
We had one person here that had a record size limitation, (huge non normalized 
record format for insurance reasons).
He HAD to use ILE.  Used CVTRPGSRC and became a convert.  Worked great.

Subject:        Maximum number of files



Hi,

We have an RPG program in which there are 50 files in it and we want to add
another for a total of 51.  However, it will not compile because the
maximum number of files exceeds 50.  How can we get around this?
